Unemployment Insurance Information
Benefits Delayed Due To Holiday
Monday, September 6, 2010 is a federal and banking holiday. State offices are closed as well. UI benefit checks, direct deposits and ReliaCard Visa payments will be delayed. Allow at least one extra business day for your payment to arrive.

You can check the status of your weekly report, including the date payment was processed, by going to the Online Claims System and clicking on Status Of Your Claim.
Benefit Extensions Currently Available
During these hard economic times, there are two unemployment insurance benefit extension programs to assist Oregonians out of work through no fault of their own; Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC), and Extended Benefits (EB).
Online Claims System
In the Online Claim System you can:
-File a new application
-Claim a week of benefits
-Restart a claim
-Check the status of your claim
-Apply for direct deposit
-Change your address
-Reset your PIN number
-View 1099G tax information

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) is the largest non-governmental regulator for all securities firms doing business in the US and overseas. They have developed a brochure, providing information on how to protect yourself from investment fraud, avoid job scams, and keeping your finances on track during a period of unemployment.
